What is the responsibility of the church
Ensuring fidelity to the gospel is not the responsibility of pastors alone. Every church member is responsible to uphold and affirm the gospel.
Heb 13:17 says obey your leaders and submit to them.
The question for each believer is who are leaders?
A leader is the ones who is responsible to the local church and the one who carried the authority of the elders.

Follow the Lord’s directions.
To preach and teach God’s word. The members have the responsibility to listen carefully and follow the teaching.

Responsibilities according to the ministry of elders.
Definition
The office of eldership is given in scripture to provide spiritual maturity and protection for the church.
Elders are to shepherd the flock of Jesus Christ Through the faithful ministry of the word and are to lead men by Godly example.
The role of eldership finds its roots in the old testament, the life of Moses and the children of Israel but its unique to the church.
The charge of a deacon in the church
- Deacon in Greek means DIAKONOS HELPER, A member of the lowest rank of the threefold Christian Ministry
- The deacon must be a faithful servant and blameless example to the church, he is appointed to serve his qualifications and responsibilities.
- SERVANT in a general sense and every Christian is called to be a deacon, DIAKONOS simply means Servant.

Pastors of the church and his responsibilities
- As pastor you provide a spiritual leadership to the members of a church. Your duties include preparing weekly sermons, preaching and conducting worship services. It is a pastor’s responsibility to interpret biblical scripture to the congregation.

Duties of Senior Pastor
- Overseeing the worship services
- Giving directions for the ministry of the local church
- Doing specific planning
- The pastor shall serve as the chief under-shepherd and overseer of the local church, feeding, leading, maturing the sheep.
A pastor must be above reproach
- A pastor must be devoted to his one woman perfectly. Titus1:6
- A pastor is a faithful 1 Timothy 3:4-5
- Be a steward. Titus 1:7
- A pastor must be humble not arrogant.
The Evangelist
- Our denomination Community of Evangelical and Pentecostal Churches for All Nations (C.E.E.P.N) acknowledges the work of an evangelist. They are to faithfully proclaim the unsearchable riches of Christ to make the sinner aware of their sins, to correct with compassion and to encourage with hope.
- An evangelist partners with prophets to ensure they are not spiritually withdrawn but are obedient to the instructions of the Lord and also demonstrating the heart of God.
- The evangelist is therefore one particularly called to the task of preaching the gospel to those who have not yet heard or not embraced the salvation and the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Romans 10 14-15
- All believers are called bare witness and to defend the truth of the Gospel and can defend their reasons of believing in Jesus Christ, for their salvation and for their hope.
Women status in the church
Our denomination for Community of Evangelical and Pentecostal Churches for All Nations (C.E.E.P.N)accepts men and women born again in the ministry to teach, preach the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ.
